Sar Pass
Day 1: Kasol to Grahan Village 6km
- Reach early morning at Bhunter/Manali.
- Take a car to Kasol.
- Take a car near RS Caffe which is around 6 km from Kasol. But the road conditions are very bad.
- Then start the trek from RS Caffe to Grahan village. Or people start trekking from Kasol to Grahan Village.
- Very beautiful trek route with deep forest and parallelly running river.
- After the RS caffe you need 1-2 hour trek or around 2-3 km trek.
- Take any Home stay at Grahan village.
Day 2 (optionaly):
- If you have time then our suggestion is to stay one day at Gahan Village.
- Our request is that if you stay at Grahan village then please do not drink alcohol, as locals don’t like it.
- In the morning you can visit the riverside where 3 beautiful waterfalls are available.
- If you want and if the weather is perfect then you can take a bath at the waterfalls.
- Return to Grahan Village and stay the night.
- Take the last ration from Grahan village after that you will get some shops only at seasonal time.
Day 3: Grahan tp Mung Thach 7km
- Start the trek early in the morning for Mung Thach.
- Today you have to trek around 7 km.
- Trek through the steeper path that leads into the woods with a thick cover of trees.
- As the slope becomes steeper the path too becomes challenging at some places.
- Today you have to trek from 5-6 hours depending on the team.
- Stay the night at Mung Thach.
Day 4:Mung Thach to Nagaru 6km
- Today you have to trek around 6 km.
- Start the trek around 8am.
- Today's altitude gain is around 400m.
- Nagaru camp site is above the tree line and too windy.
- Sometimes networks are also available.
- No water sources are available on this route.
- Road is very stiff and sometimes it is very dangerous.
Day 5: Nagaru to Biskeri Thach via Sar Pass
- Start the trek around 8-9am
- Altitude: Sar Pass - 4,200 m; Biskeri Thach - 3,350 m
- Reach the top and enjoy the stunning views of Sar pass and the elevated peaks of the Tosh valley.
- Stay sometime on top of the Sar pass and capture pictures on camera and definitely in your memory.
- Now you go down towords Biskeri Thach.
- Biskeri Thach is the last night stay point of this trek.
- Tonight relax into a tent and recap the memory of the whole journey with your team mate. Because from the next day all will enter into as usual life.
Day 6: Biskeri Thach to Kasol/Manali via Barshaini | Trek distance: 9 km, 5-6 hours
- Started trek around 8am to 9am
- Today only goes down which can be dangerous, so be careful.
- Go to Barshaini and take a car to your destination like kasol/Manali/Bhuntar etc.
